Case Supervision

In case supervision a team or a group from the area of psychosocial work reflects, under my guidance, on its work with clients or patients. On the basis of an actual case from their institution, the team members bring into focus both conscious and unconscious correlations, discuss the characteristics of the client in question and optimize his or her treatment, enabling care personnel to work with greater ease and improving the quality of their work. In this process, the group acts as a mirror in which the conscious and unconscious conflicts are displayed. This complements reflection and creates new options for working with the client.

Team Supervision

Team supervision deals with communal learning and solving tasks together – for instance when a team or a group of persons from the area of non-profit work assembles to discuss issues of working together as a team. This group may address topics such as processes, structures, values or the team’s or institution’s culture. Personal topics, however, should be included only to the extent that they either support or obstruct the process. The aim of team supervision is to subsequently put the lessons learned into practice.
